Brake Noise

I purchased myself a very sexy pair of rims yesterday (pics be up later) there 17's mounted on 205/40/17

When I left the place where i bought them I dont think they were making any noise (although I could be wrong since the music was on)

but later that day I went through a touchless car wash and I noticed once I got out then when I brake at low speeds (20 km/h and less) I hear this consistant noise

deet pause deet and as I get towards zero the noise becomes slightly more frequent

Im thinking one of two things

1) Ive had 14" steel rims until yesterday, very little water gets in there compared to my new 5 spoke rims. Could the brakes could the brakes be wet? I drove about 200km last night so I have a feeling they would dry in that time (i have an 01 lx)

2) The rims I purchased came with tires, so I assumed they wold be balanced but upon closer inspection there doesnt seem to be any weights in it. Could the tires not be balanced causing this noise?

Thanks in advance for your help, on a side note what do you all recommend as a rim cleaner?
