if u like ur alloy's. keep em and paint them black. Alot of people will tell u to powdercoat ( this is smart) but if ur cheap, u CAN get a nice finish if u spend some time sanding them down, adding 3-4 layers of colour then another 3-4 layers of clearcoat.

i think a nice flatblack would look nice, just make sure the cars lowered a good 2" to cover the fender gap.

i think u can do them urself, im buying new JDM intermilano's on sat. and im gunna paint them by hand. 1st time doing it on a NICE set of wheels, so ill post pics when im done. Powdercoating can get expensive. Maybe $75 per wheel? 100 per wheel if u get them to install it and take off the tires and reinstall everything. just rough idea's but its not cheap. But it looks nice, anyway heres pics of my steelies painted black, and my 89 CRX Si rims painted to match the car. Both have 3 coats of colour and 3 coats of clearcoat.

I decided to paint em.. i was wondering... would it be better to paint em myslef or powder coat em? .. i heard powder coatin aint all that great... cuz it messes up the rim due to temperature or something when they do it?.. i dunno...... anyways i wanna know if i paint it.... all i do is take my rim off paint it and stick it back on or is there any other steps to it?

take it off, sand it down. apply 3 coats of paint, letting it dry in between. Then add 3 coats of clear letting it dry in between and then u should be good 2 go.
