how do i make my brakes look clean?
i just put some rims on my car and love them but hate the way the brakes look behind them. what can i do to make it look better. any recomindation (sp) would be great.
Maybe try painting them. I can speak from experience when I say that the majority of daily-driver-tuners upgrade their rotors and calipers for the looks, not for performance. Why do you think calipers come in such pretty colors now?

Don't use soap. Soap puts a film on rotors and they they don't stop. If you have rust, then scotchbrite it off and paint the hubs with brake paint (high temp). Don't get paint on the braking surface.
