Grrr Broke a lug nut stud!!

Today I changed my rims and I broke one of the studs in the front. I was just turning the damn thing and it snapped. WTF@!@!! Now im running around on 3 lugs. Is it safe to roll around on 3 lugs? How hard is it to fix the problem? Anyone run into this before?

Ya I ran into the same problem. Just dont drive stupid with three lugs on and you should be fine. Its a 20 min job at a mechanic to fix. My friends shop did it for me but he didnt charge me haha. But they shouldnt charge you much. The most 40 bucks. Just call a couple places and find out how much they charge.

Yeah its not such an easy job.
They need to sort of take apart your suspension to get to the stud.

MAKE SURE THEY DON'T MESS UP YOUR ALIGNMENT.

Oh lord. It takes about 20 minutes to replace wheel studs and they are about $3 each from any auto parts store. Learn to DIY people...

Yea its not so easy...I'll basically have to take apart my whole suspension. I cant just insert a new stud in there because something is blocking it. Gonna be harder than I thought, so I might just roll around on 3 lugs
