i am planning on buying a set of drag radials for my civic. now i was looking at getting the Kosei K1 TS in 15x7 with bf goodrich t/a drag radials on them. now the question is would a 235/60R15 fit? not on the wheel but onto the car. it should clear everything right? or should i just go with the 225/50R15?

any help is appreciated, thanks

Stick with 225/50. 235/60 is a HUGE tire that probably won't fit on the car, but more importantly you'll be running tires significantly larger than stock, making the car accelerate slower and you'll be running 22 sec. 1/4s.

Sorry for "hijacking" but I have rota slipstreams 15 x 6.5 and was wondering whats the widest i can go tire wise. 225/50 a possibility because that size has alot of drag tire choices and I would go 205/50 but my drop isn't that much so it looks goofy.

225 on a 6.5 is a shoehorn job. Does it fit? yeah, but it looks like a balloon.

i used to run 205/50/15 falken azenis on my kosei k1's. my car was running 14.2's and i had moderate tire spin so 215's might even be big enough if ur running 14.6's and ur getting a better tire, cause wider = heavier. and the last place u want more weight is on ur wheels. also, for the 15x6.5" slipstreams, 205's fit fine, my friend uses them for autoX and loves them.

also, a 2.34 60' is a super sexy time for stock tires. congrats.
