Pirelli P3000 any good?

Anyone got experience with these tires? i called up discount tire co. and asked for the highest mileage tires in 205/55/16, and the guy told me that the pirellli p3000 are rated at 85k miles so that's the mileage they will warantee those tires for. Their traction rating is AA.

what do u guys think? They good? for <$100 a piece, i think its a pretty good buy, just trying to get some general input on this.

Thanks guys!

Pirelli's website lists the tire with a treadwear of 620, and an 85K warranty. I'm not a big fan of Pirelli, had people complain about tire noise frequently. I think for $100, there are probably better options out there, but JMO.

run a google/dogpile searchon those tirees and find out if they're good or not. there's a ton of places over the internet that can give you good info about tires.

This is pretty accurate. I know lots of people happy with the grip of the P-zeros and P7000s... but not a single one of them hasn't complained about them getting noisy when they wear.

Yep.....I ran Pirelli's on a bike I had once, and I hated them. Maybe their ultra high performance stuff is good.
