ok were almost done with our wide body crx. and me and my neighbor are looking for some deep dish rims. he wants some rims that are 17 or 18 that are 8/12 to 9 inches wide. can anybody help me out? we wanna look at all stlyes we can. it had the fx designs kit on it and will be silver with red and black interior. so really crhome or silver is what were looking for. before you guys ask it is his car but ive help out alot on the build and he is like my 2nd dad.

yeah they carry volk and all those high end wheels which is mostly what comes in 8 inch + sizes! Search by the wheel manufacture and it will tell you the widths of them! Dont search by car cuz it knows the maximum size wheel for a crx is 7.5"!

SSR's, Racing Harts, Volks, Advans, Work all make some nice rims, especially for show cars

hart wheels u can do 19" and deep lip.

as many know im the foremost authority on offsets.. how wide r ur flares from oem?

we can start there and about 2600$ later we can run some 19" 2 peice harts+tires

the flare are 3 inchs wider on each side from the back and 2 1/2 inchs winder on the front. no bigger than 18's. i'll try and post some ppics of a finished one. and he is gonna most likey run like 1.5 inch spacers i'll pm ya after i'll talk to him thanks.

these are a few from the company who sells it. we are doing the same color scheme. but we customized the tail lights and made it a see though hood scoop so you can see the H22. not gonna get painted for about 2 months so i'll post pics in members rides when finished. i put some up a while back of the rough fit and H22 installled. but we still need to setup the power stearing setup, and hydraulic clutch setup. and a little suspension work, the crx eibach setup it has isn't the best for this application. we need something heavier. but thats covered.

if a wheel is CORRECTLY done u wont need spacers.. by eliminating spacers you get bigger lip.


what i do is you measure car perfectly (find some 18" wheels like cheap ones 18x7.5 +43 4x100 (standard 4 lug wheels) and u put on car then u take pictures of fender gap w/ a ruler and send to me.. i go and i custom design the wheel so the offset is perfect and width is perfect so that:

no spacers needed
fits brakes PERFECTLY
FITs fender perfectly
tires fits snug

so that all u gotta do is put em on and they look like they were made to fit that car (which they were)

3" flare in rear you can run 18x11 prolly a 4" lip minimum on a HART 2 peice wheel
2.5" flare front you can run 3" lip minimum and have room behind for big brakes if needed

^^^if car is 4 lug u can only buy HART wheels custom to fit.. if its 5 lug u can do work/Volk/Rays etc
