Stopping distances wont change much if at all, what a larger rotor will give you is the ability to run the brakes Harder longer.]
Remember, Rotors and pads don't stop the car, your Tires do. and so, your tires are the one part that ultimatly determins how short your stopping distances are.

Rep Power: 0 So far I love them! I'm pissed though because I also bought new wheels & tires which I had on for a day before I installed the Wilwoods and now they won't fit due to clearance reasons. There FOR SALE on the site since I have to get new wheels. If your purchasing this kit I would suggest a non-liped 18" wheels or 19" most wheels.
I purchased the Wilwood kit for $595 shipped 2nd day.

Rep Power: 356 Locally, a friend of mine with a CRX has had 2 sets of WIllwood Calipers leak on him... for the rest, do a simple search on Google (Wilwood Calipers Leaking) and you'll find other instances. Typically its the Square orings that need replacing.
This does not mean that All willwood calipers will leak, but they are known to. Note that Willwood Recomends rebuilding the calipers regularly, I believe its Yearly for a car that sees track use.

Rep Power: 248 Great upgrade. Some people don't think that with speed, brakes are needed. But obviously you have thought this through. Keep us posted on performance and potential leakage problems.

are you sure about that? and was changing the rotor size the only thing you did?
See, Changing the rotors will allow you to run the brakes harder longer, but in them selves have very little if any influence on stopping distances. What changing pads does is alter the brakes Torque Curve, Which in turn alters how much brake presure is needed to get the same amount of torque to the tires (As stock or other pads). The total amount of Torque the tires can apply to the ground hasn't changed, just how much pedal travel you use in order to reach that Terminal Point. (This can make it seem like the brakes are working better or stopping the car better, because you are using less pedal travle then you use to.)
The other thing chaging pads does is alter the Opperating and Terminal Fade temp of the brakes.

Rep Power: 0 if you take into account the coefficient of factor per square inch, the total friction factor of the unit has increase. the total force applied to the rotational system has increased. more stopping power and a shorter distance.

You still run in to the issue that the tire can only apply so much torque to the ground before it brakes free. Increasing the torque the brakes can exert on the tires simply means that you'll reach that Terminal point with less Pedal travel.

Rep Power: 309 Look Hella pimp man... Hey so you ordered directly from Willwood or who did you go through... I'm really interested.... Do the Calipers come in any different colors... For 600 bux I'd want them to stand out a little more.. But thats just me.....Oh and also with the new bracket your getting are you still gonna have the issue with the rim clearance...Just wondering if they will clear my wheels....
