Lowering and Tires....

Hey Im planning on lowering my 02 civic ex about 1.5" (probably a little more once the springs settle in)

Would there be any rubbing with tire sizes 205/50/15's?

or what size do you guys recomend (prefer kinda low profile... but not to low at the same time) 195/50/15's?

Thanks

kinda low pro? man, 195/50/15 is the most low pro you can get with that kinda series lol. you should check out the tire calculator on this website which is on the top right under "quick links".
choosing the right tire size matters a lot when you decide what your gonna do with your car. if your into performance, then going low pro is your choice. if you dont wanna alter the speedometer min. as possible, for a 15" tire, 195/60/15 or 205/60/15 would be best not only cuz it keeps ur odometer reading accurate as possible, but for those hardcore bumps/potholes like in NYC. if you wanna play it safe and have both, 205/55/15 is best for low profile tire. you wont rub even with a 2" drop on those. 195/55/15 works also, but alters your speedo more than the 205.

i recommend 205/55/15 or 195/55/15 if you wanna slam with no rubbing.

with only dropping 1.5 i would do at the smallest 205-50 but i personally would do 205/55 if it were my car
