I have ASX's right now which are replacing 712's. The ASX is much better in wet conditions and also does not track like the 712's. I don't have any experience with the 711's; they seem like a good value.

But I gotta admit the tracking issue with 712s can make life exciteing!!
I've never had Khumo tires, but I was very happy with my Falken GRBs, unfortunately they were used and one got messed up, so I need a new set. I thought about the Khumo's, but I'm confused now...so many diferent opinions...
I have 711's because they came with my wheels (which were of my main concern). I find that the 711's are too hard and only give the desired group when properly warmed up. As well, a reason why the tires felt hard was because I've only driven them in a temperature range of 0-10 deg. Celcius. But even in the cold, they provided good traction and grip. As well, they handled a bit of wet snow fairly well to my surprise.
The road noise is quite substantial, especially compared to something like the Toyo Proxes T1-S's. The highway noise was insane, especially since I just came off soft winter tires.
Verdict: Bang for the buck (like many have said), but I wouldn't purchase another set... well unless I was in a real financial bind.
