Winter/Snow Tires Toyo vs Yoko

Aight so this is my situation, I have to choose between the Toyo G-02 plus vs the Yokohama IG10 winter/snow tire. I'm not sure which are better, but people are getting behind both of them equally. One side saying the Toyo's are better and the other side saying the Yoko's are better.

Anyone really know what the deal is with which one is actually better.

These are the prices I've been listed so far for the tire size 185/65R/15 (and I will be installing them on my stock alloys) from different stores. These are the cheapest. In Canadian Dollars

Toyo G-02 Plus - $124 each (balanced and mounted)
Yokohama IG10 - $123 each (balanced and mounted)

As you can see both are same price, so what it really comes down to is what is the better tread pattern and performance.

Could you elaborate on that ... like which Toyo's, or more durable meaning because of speed rating or .... ???
Etc etc ...

I have the same size tires on my car right now. I have not taken my car through snow yet, so I don't know how it performs yet. I've always liked toyos, and that's why I think I chose them.

I have the G02 Plus, and they handle better than the stock potenza's in dry and wet roads. Yes that's right, I said my winter tires handle better than the stock all season re92 potenza's. OEM tires are always junk though.

G02 have a higher speed rating, I don't if that really matters. G02 are also directional tires. I would say go for the toyos, but that's because I love toyo tires. When I get my summer tires, I'm going to get toyo's as well.

The Yoko's seems like a good tire too.

Here in Québec LE GUIDE DE L'AUTO (annual publication for new cars like consumer's report) made a test for winter tires and the toyo g-02 plus came in the 3 first position out of 20 approx.(with bridgestone blizzak LM-22 sport version not the ws-50 common version)(and nokkian hakapitella)
The yokohama finish almost at the end of the list and mostly because of it's rapid wear...The Toyo get the best note for durability...

My friend works for a tire center and he explained to me that tradewear quotes were for comparaison inside the same company like a 400 tradewear in Michelin is more durable than a 200 in Michelin, but a 400 Michelin is not comparable to a 400 for Toyo for exemple...he also tell me that Toyo were very often more durable in different category than others...and he told me that Yokohama make very good tires but often less durable than others(same category comparaison)...since winter tire don't have tradwear quotes i'm going with the test made by LE GUIDE L'AUTO
