Rep Power: 395 Preventing tire rubbing when it WILL occur...
Hi Guys/Gals,
I had a thought a while back about tire rubbing due to turning. I will be running 225/45-17's soon. My 215/45-17's allready rub a little while turning, but I can consciously avoid it by not turning so hard.
My question is... Is it possible to modify the steering rack to turn less? I.E. modify it in such a way so as to turn as much as possible, but not too much to rub?
thanks for any tips/ideas/comments...

Rep Power: 400 225/45/17 is larger than the stock diameter by enough that it matters. It will alter your final gearing in such a way that the car will accelerate slower than it already does. Your overall top speed will increase, but that doesn't do much good.
