ok guys I know the drill, seems my question hasn't been asked.
I'm planning on buying a set of the 15" oem alloy wheels off a 2004 civic ex. Depending if someone buys my current rims, I might keep these oem rims permanently on the car (all seasons). I'm not sure of how the Bridgestone Potenza tires that Honda stuck to the 2004 wheels compare to the 01-03 set (crap).
Can you guys recommend any other tires thast might be better? or are the Potenzas good enough?
thanks!

Potenza RE950s. Probably the best performance all seasons you can get. They're about $80 a pop in 15" which isn't all that bad and they go through anything like its nobody's business.
For all season, so far the best bang for the buck would be the Bridgestone Potenza RE-950. I love the way it handles & it last long too. It's a bit noisy though for an all season tires in my opinion but overall, the RE-950 is an excellent all season tires.
205 60 15 Kumho ECSTA 716 HP4 are very cheap, and have respectable ratings on TireRack. My g/f has a set on her 03 EX coupe, and they are not bad in winter conditions. They were like $38 each, plus shipping, from Whalen Tire.

I also have the RE-950s so much grip they snapped my axel at the track. So they are awesome but don't go to the track with them if you have a aftermarket clutch and flywheel. They also corner very well.
Another vote for the Bridgestone Potenza RE950's from me. Best all-season tires on the market in my mind. They have so much grip in the dry, and even more in the wet, a superb tire!
However, having said that. Where I live, I wouldn't consider running ANY all-season tire after November (we get a lot of snow here). All-seasons, no matter how good they are, just cannot cope with snow and ice. You really need to have a set of snow tires if you live in the snow-belt areas. I personally use the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50's. They are incredible, and got me through the worst blizzard in Nova Scotia for 50 years.
