Help w/18s!
Ok, i'm sure its been asked here before but I am getting ready to buy some rims and everywhere I've been they tell me to get 17s. Why is this? bigger is better right? thats what i thought too. .
Anyways can someone tell my why 17's are recommended. Also to let you know, and so someone doesn't say "well if you're going for this or for that" im going for looks on the rims. I know the 18's may slow it down a bit but i don't take it to the track. SOOOOOOooooOO.... keeping in mind i want my ride not to look all flashy, i want it to look sleek .
1. Will the 18's be too big for the wheel well?
2. What size tires should i get? (i like the small tire look)
3. How much of a drop should i go?
3. Any recommendation for rims? my car is nighthawk blue and Im pretty sure silver and simple is what im going for but i can't seem to find the PERFECT rims. I liked the RS Limited Concept pros but...i dunno, when i get them i want them to be PERFECT. Thanks for the helP!!!

please dont double post your question.
1) 18's should be fine unless you're dropped pretty far. make sure you get wheels with the right offset.
2) The thinner your tires, the more you're going to want to either baby them on bad roads. plus your ride's going to seem rougher
3) everyone's going to tell you to drop it a different height.

) get what you think looks good
search, there's a lot of people around with 18s

^double post...lol
i have a 1.3" drop in the front and a 1.4" drop in the back. i have an 18" wheel with a 215/40 tire. to me, it looks perfect except for the negative camber. as for which wheel to buy...that's up to you. it's whatever YOU like.
