Question powder coating rims

how much should i expect to pay to powdercoat a set of 4 rims?

this is a good idea, i need to decide if i would want to do this to my rims instead of buying whole new rims.

have any of you powder coated the stock rims like gunmetal or like a shade of gray or something? im curious how it would look on my car...any pictures?

i'm thinking about getting these stock rims because i got new tires and don't wanna waste them. i photo chopped it and i want to look like this





i just nned to find them cheaper

paint department of wallie world....had the same rims on my vic for about 3 months while waiting on my new rims and just painted them flat black...looked real good!

so should i just get the rims and try to do it myself? i guess i should try. i might as well, because if i screw up or they don't look good i can still get them powder coated and end up only using up a couple of extra bucks for the spray paint.

I painted mine, it lasted 12 hours.
Then I powdercoated them.

$140.... how much it costs depends on the size of the rim, the color and if you can find a small shop. The smaller the shop, the more likely they'll do them for less since they're not set up for production runs (meaning they're not squeezing you in, they're doing them for you). Ask motorcycle shops who they recommend for powdercoating frames, etc....

thanks, i'll probably just have to wait till i buy the rims and see whats in my budget and whats not.
