Question wheel offset and width for 19" ??

hi guys,

i'm just wandering wheter 19x8.5 or 19x9 would fit in the rear fender with just a bit of roll? if yes, what offset would it be?

and the front, will 19x8 fit? if it does fit, what is the offset?

thanks

19x8's will fit! I have them on my car now. I have also messed around with spacers and I could fit a .25" spacer. So you can run 19x8.5's tucking with a slightly cut fender lip (about 60% off it). That also means if you had it cut completely off you could run 19x9's. I'm sure you could even run wider than 9inchs with the right offset and the right drop (have to have major suspension travel before the fender or a very hard suspension with hardly any movement; they would stick out slightly too :-/). Contact Riley for better info and questions on offsets, etc.

19x8's 215/35/19's dropped appox. 3.8in w/.25" Spacer

APRboy is on a distinguished road
Be safe and run 19 x 7.5, you'll have no probs and no need for any spacers at all.

rijowysock will become famous soon enough
sorry, my new apt doesnt have internet yet,but im here now

19x7.5 ....................+34---------+56 +43------+48 perfect, rest need mods)
19x8 .......................+40--------+50(+45 no mods needed....either "exremes" need shaved fender
19x8.5............................+45 (kinda pushing it)(fenders need be shaved flush)
19x9..................................+50(requires a majorly modified lip, likeim talking fender flares.

****remember, the part that rubs is the TIRE..so with the extreme situations id run falken azeni st115 215/35/19(those will fit up to a 8.5) but the tire is pulled on and curbing rim is very easily done, dont run pirelli/toyo/yokohama! nitto neogen are kinda thick but id reccomend falken st115 215/35/19

(if ur looking for a big "lip" mulitpeice is the way to go and u only need 7.5" wide and then just mess w/ offset. anything made w/ a ip 19x8.5+++ is gonna be 5 lug..)

PM me for questions, also i have a few sets of 19's in my closet i am willing to sell (2 sets r multipeice.)

yeah 19x7.5 probably the safest of all.. but imo, if you look from the rear, 7.5 doens't look wide enough

thanks riley,

i'm thinking the same racinghart cx, but 19.. and wider i like the style

i think mine is racinghart, not the RH evo or replicas, it says so in the packaging box and the japanese paper inside, but it is monoblock not multipiece..
they made cx from 17s to 19s, not sure about 17s, 18s come in monoblock and multipiece, and 19s only come in multipiece
racinghart cx spec
i'm currently in sydney, australia and i can have the wheels un-drilled from racinghart, so i can make it fit with 4x100

and more questions if you dont mind.. for the front, 19x8, will i have problems with turning with offset 49? because in the cx specs the closest is 49

for the rear how about 19.8.5 and offset 49? i have no problem with shaving the fender but what concerns me is the screw from the rear bumper near the rear fender.. will i need to modify them? i want as the wheels as 'out' as possible

thanks a lot for your info

i know my CX

17/18 monoblock cast RH, 18/19 multipeice racinghart 2 peice

dude they already come 4x100... in all sizes...

im telling ya, why do you need wide,.. if u ust want em to look wide do a low offset.

id do.. 19x7.5 front.....u can do....+49 35mm lip,+42 42mm lip(or 19x8 +42 48mm lip,+49 41mm lip)

rear 19x7.5 +28 56mm lip, +35 49mm lip,
19x8 +42 48mm lip
thats it...
u can "wide"
i shaved my screws off and then cut the rear bumper and removed the lip in fender.

i get 2 sets of this rims directly from hartwheels japan with some other lowenhart and eurohart when they just released it for few weeks and i ordered with no pcd hole.. because i don't know which car will eventually use them, so i can make whatever pcd pattern is required

maybe they have different arrangement in the states

i want wider because if i look from the rear, 7.5 in rear looks really 'thin and weak'

thanks for the helps .. maybe i'll use 19x7.5 front and 8 rear

if u tell me exactly what u wanna do i can come up w/ a look

what i would do is thin/no rubbing in front w/ litttttle lip
and lil wider in rear somewhat of a lip
35mm front/56mm rear
then id do falken azenis st115 215/35/19 front and 225/35/19 rear for the wide look.

still considering other models as well.. but i have more interest in cx
i'm still using my 18x7.5 with 42mm lip front and rear and i haven't cut the fender yet
i guess 19x7.5 with 42mm lip should be alrite in the front
and 19x8 with 48mm or 55mm lip in the rear

falken is the thinnest among all.. isn't it?

pics of cx monoblock..
