rims have arrived!!
Kosei k1-ts 15x7. tire rack kicks so much ***. Nicely packaged, included nice new lugs, and since i told hime they where for race use, he threw in aluminum hub centering rings free instead of the plastic ones.
also the rims came with all 8 aluminum valve stems. I can't wait to get tires on these bad boys and take them to the track.
It wieghed out to be 11.2 with valve stems, cap, and centering ring. Very nice for a cast rim.

Its to allow the easier use if nitrogen rather then compresed air, for race use.
you Fill on one and purge on the other.
advantages of Nitrogen.... That can be debated, but there are a few.
#1 nitrogen molecules are larger than those of oxygen, so they diffuse less easily through a tire’s sidewall. As a result, tires filled with nitrogen tend to remain properly inflated longer
#2 Its an Inert gas so it doesnt attack/corrode the tire and wheel like Compressed air can
#3 Its more stable then Compressed gas so it doesnt react much to changes in weather conditions.
Downsides include the added cost/avalibilty of the compressed nitrogen..
