pretty good price....do you mind sharing with the others? I was thinking of getting those tires as well for my rims but with the Falken cause of the treadwear and lip protection. Nice tires though

i just got the toyo proxes 4's also. i've been in this scene for a long time now and this is the best tire i have ever used. i'm using a 215/40-18 and they have the rim protection as well as a 300 treadwear rating. i highly recommend them.

if a tire has lip protection, it has lip protection. one isn't really going to have more than another. if one did, it would have rubber sticking out and would look pretty stupid. falken is a great tire also but the toyo is better in my opinion.

The tires are decent and grip well; however, the tread life is why I no longer buy those.

I got a set last week...215/45/17; so far I like them a lot. It rains a lot here (Vancouver, WA) and the tire has a good local rep.

NO. FZ4 and 4 is totally different.

Proxes 4 is Ultra-High Performance All-Season tire. Proxes 4 is seamless also and the overall structural integrity is better than FZ4 because of this.

Proxes FZ4 is only High Performance All-Season tire. You can see the joint of the rubber.

Most, it not all, tires have the so called rim protector.

Proxes 4 handles well better in the rain since it has a Silica compound.

Parada Spec-2s have a silica based compound too.. See many tires, they seem to be the best for the money. But I have yet to try the 4s. Im on my second set of Parada-spec 2s now... And I have BF Goodrich drag radials. I'll look into the 4s for future ref... I've been hearing about them

I like the 4's W thread design and could be my next tires too. I was looking for that when I bought my wheels. They only have the FZ4 offered in the package so I went with FZ4. My previous tires are AVS-ES100 (Silica compound as well) and I love it in the rain.

I have Toyo Proxes 4 in 215/35/19 and they are awesome. They ride quiet and stick well if I have to make a quick turn. I had some hankook Ventus tires on my 17s in 205/40/17 and those were **** compared to the Toyos.... and they were only for 17s. I have a better ride with my 19s then I did with my 17s.
