Help Asap!!!

Ok I was washing my car and noticed that I have a screw stuck in my tire Now it more than likeley happened at work and I drove home from work and didnt feel any differnet its a 40km drive. Also the psi in the tire hasnt gone down any. Now I know i should leave it in for now right? Im hopping its just in the tread and didnt actually puncture all the way thru. So what should I do? is it ok to drive still?? HELP!!

take it to a tire shop and have them remove the screw i wouldnt drive any further than that.. if the screw DID go all the way through then you want to make sure you get it taken care of sso not to reck your rims. just my .02 cents

That sucks, since I had my car, I got about 10 sheetrock screws, people drop a box and don't pickem up...........I pluged 2 tires and had to replace 2 but the plugs work good, new tires are better>>they have a sealent at wal mart and other places, you just let out the pressure and take the stem out and pour this stuff in and its supposed to fix them, but haven't used mine yet.........im not talking about fix a flat.

don't worry. If you really want to do it yourself. Go to walmart or discount auto parts and buy that squeaky goow It's grean orange etc. Just blow it into the tire like it says, unplug the screw and you will be fine.

I do recommened though that you take it to a tire shop like mentioned before.

It really shouldnt be a problem with the auto store tire fix sealant stuff. But if you wanna play it safe, I do recommend having a tire shop look at it. Better to have someone look at it and tell you about a hazardous situation that to have a tire blowout on the freeway and bend your rims.

just buy a tire fix kit at walmart. Its has this black tacky stuff that if there is a hole, u force it in there and it seals it.

well I took it to a tire shop just to be safe, they pulled out the screw than put some water on the hole where it came out and no bubbles wich of course means no leak wich means it was just stuck in the tread and didnt puncture all the way in. Good thing I dont do lots of burnout or else the tread woulda been worn and could have punctured through.

Ok you can now delete this thread! thanks for the help guys
