Swaping wheels help please.
I'm looking a trading wheels with someone and I'm going from this Suspension Techniques Springs 1.75” drop, 17” Enkei CDR9 rims w/ Nitto 450’s 205/40/17, to 16" rims with 205/40/16 tires with the same drop.
The question is I have a 6th Gen and the person I'd be trading with has a 7th Gen is there a big difference in the fender well clearance? I'm worried about the car lowering more and draggin' a$$ on the ground. Clearance is rough now as it sits, let alone an inch smaller on the wheels.
Can someone provide some insight to this?
Thanks!

i am really not sure what you want to know. Are you talking about on your car? The 16's should be just fine. Same size tire (besides the 16), same drop. You miight have more fender well clearance, but that is it. Not less.

And no it shouldn't be closer to the ground. If it is, it probably won't be noticeable.

Yeah, sorry, someone's profile was wrong! I copied and pasted. My bad.
Sux that it drags out of drive ways and over speed bumps as it is, I'm just concerned.
Thanks for your help.

Just bought new shocks less than 6 months ago. I was riding on cut stocks but bought the new one's and damn....dropped pretty far. I'll have to double check what brand they are.
