03' SI's and 99'00' Si's
Is there any difference between those two? I just got some 03 ones and checked it with my friends 99 si rims and mine has some sort of tab on the edge of each rim. Is that normal for all the 03's? His rims had nothing on them....
the 03 SI rims are the double 5 spoke and the 99-00 are the 7 spoke found on the 03 EX.
the tab on the edge of the rim is a wheel weight, they are used for balancing the wheels. they don't necessarily have them on one year or another.

You can also get balancing weights stuck on the inside of the wheel so you can't see them. I think it's a little bit better to have them on the outside, but it doesn't look as good. I'm pretty sure the difference is negligable, though.
