Bent Rim HELP!!!!

I guess my karma caught up to me a couple nights ago. Story is that I hit my rim on the side of the road, big pothole.

I have a set of Nakayama 6-speed rims. I went to get my tires re-balanced yesterday, the tire people said that I bent one of my rims. The finish of the rim is perfect, no cracking or anything noticable. I said it's ok, I put in the order to replace my bent rim, $168.00. I got a call tonight from the tire place saying that the manufacture no longer makes that style of rim any more. SOB!

So the question, is a bent rim repairable? I mean repairable to the point that I cannot tell the difference when driving? The rim looks fine, I could not tell it was bent, other than the fact that my car was shaking over 60MPH.

It is a 17in Nakayama 6-speed.

Anyone know of a shop in southern-california?

There is HOPE!

I just looked at the receipt from the tire place, they made a mistake and ordered a silver rim instead of a hyper black rim.

I hope they have some hyper black ones in stock!...

Eh, um... Still though if anyone knows of any wheel repair place in so-cal. let me know. thanks

I was just wondering, if a rim is bent just a bit, does that make a difference whether the car shakes at high speeds. It only shakes during the day, at night it doesnt.

NytRyder2k2 is on a distinguished road
There are rim shops that can repair wheels. I know several in the bay area, but not too sure about so cali. But it usually runs about 100-200 depending on how bad the damage is.
