Lug Nut Trouble!

Anyone have wheels that come with a centercap that covers the lug nuts. My centercap wont go back on when the lugs are on because they extend a little bit too far. If you are able to fit your centercap over your lugs, please tell me what lugs you have. Thanks

Are you saying that the wheel studs are too long or the capped wheel nuts are getting in the way?

Your best bet is to go down to your nearest auto-parts store and ask for wheel nuts for your car... some things are just that easy

I recently had to replace a couple missing ones (yes, missing... don't ask how) on my g/f's vehicle and the ones they gave me at the auto place were uncapped... just like regular nuts... and they fit right on there.

They're not very sightly, but you'll be puttin' that centercap over them anyways, right?

yea the centercap will cover them but the question is do they come with locks or are they just lugs? Keep in mind they're tuner wheels.

So the wheel nuts that are giving you trouble are the locking-type?

I would just go to the autoparts store with one of yours and compare it to what they have...

I'm no pro and I may not know what the hell I'm talking about, as I'm still riding on my steelies, but that would make sense... wouldn't it?
