y not leave them on all year long. I have chrome and dont take them off for winter spring fall etc. look good all year

Welcome to the way of things in the snow belt. Summer tread tires don't get ANY traction in snow. You might as well be driving with slicks. So us folks in the snow belt normally put the stock wheel/tire combo on for the winter and swap back and forth.

I'm waiting until the temps in consistently in the 50's before I put the summer wheel/tires back on. Right after that, I'm going directly to Discount Tire to get some new tires to replace my near treadless Kumho 711s.

My guess it'll still be a couple of weeks.

This is the first year I left my summer wheels/tires on the Civic because I had a winter CAR to drive this year The 2K1 only got driven on days that had halfway decent weather.

It snowed the other day 8 inches. Its supposed to snow the rest of this week in NY so Im waiting till prolly May to put my b ang g's on and my rims back up. I think after this winter Im joining Blk in Florida, just to Jacksonville.
