AEM/nissin pads are Ceramic Kevlar I believe. The pads/shoes I use are from Porterfield (R4-S compound) and they are Carbon Kevlar. The Ceramic Kevlar will have decent bite, and heat resistance plus low dust (and its light grey so it doesnt show up much) The Carbon Kevlar pads.... are more tuned for Racing/Heavy Street use. They have Good Bite and are stable to 1100 Deg F... Brake dust is minimal unless you push them (like your supose to). 
You want a Vented rotor, Blank or slotted would work.

Rep Power: 384 just as an update to this when i put on my 17 subzeros the acceleration didnt seem to be as there as it was with the stock wheels, but my car feels much more stable, and responsive, so it was worth it,but also i topped out at 114 once which before ive reached i thought like 126 so i dont know if that has something to do with it
saw on a tuner show that they dyno'd a RSX-S for base numbers..then proceeded with mods....they added big brakes and then did exhaust. they dyno'd it after the install and found they had lost power (7hp). thinking it was cause the exhaust was hurting performance somehow they went back to stock and dyno'd again and that showed a 12hp loss from the original run. so the exhaust was actually helping them to not loose 5 hp.
turns out what did it was the bigger breaks which weighed the same as stock were causing the loss because the mass was farther from center of the wheel.

Same issue with Big wheels, even if they weigh less..... Ya cant break the laws of Physics.

Rep Power: 381 Essenially it deals with Leavers. Remember that back in science class, how the longer the leaver the less engergy you needed to use to move a heavy object. well when it comes to spinning objects were the force is being applied from the center of that object, then the effect is the opposite. the longer the Leaver (wheel size) the more force that will be needed to get it to spin/move even if the weight of that object remains the same.
You should have no problems with moving a "used" tire on to a new wheel. as long as its designed to fit that size wheel, as in a 17" tire goes on a 17" wheel and a 15" tire goes on a 15" wheel.

The farther a weight is from its center of rotation, the harder it is to turn. You might also have some luck with searching "inertia" or "physics" in this forum... some very good explainations have been posted.
The other thing I'm going go say is "really light" typically goes with "really expensive".... so how much you got to drop?
