A light 17..

i'm looking for a light 17" rim, has to be 5x114.3 with at least a 45mm offset.

Any ideas on light, not to expsensive 17's?

Not expensive is the problem.... light usually means forged, forged means money.
I would say the whole Volk Line, but for 17", you're looking at $400+ per rim.
If you account in all the knockoffs, I'm sure there's some light Rota, but after all the money you dropped already, I doubt you want a rota.
5Zigen FN01RC
Ray's GramLights aren't too bad (they're about $275)
Gimme a few hrs... I'll think of some more. Give me a price ceiling or I'll get carried away.

thanks alot.

I was looking at the gramlights. They priced pretty damn good considering the brand.

the max i'd spend for rims alone is about $1100.

Enkei RPM2 - 17 lbs, 17x7 +45
Enkei RP F1 - 16lbs, 17x7.5 +48
Enkei RP02J- 16lbs, 17x7 +45

All those should be in the range you're looking for.
I'll see what else I can find that isn't a knockoff.

Kosei K1 17X7 16lbs $179

Little more expensive but a little lighter.

Ya know, you can fit a nice light 16 on there....

Nippon Lightstar
5 x114.3 +48
15 lbs.
$650 for a set of 4
black, gunmetal, sliver or white

Tuningedepot sells the lightstars for $85.00 a rim but I'm not sure if they carry the 5x114.3 +48, worth an email if you're interested.

thanks alot everyone! gives me a really good idea what choices i have

I'm not getting rid of the RSX rims, i'm gonna use them for winter rims. I want something with a shorter sidewall when i go tracking.

so far i'm really digging the Kosei K1's and the Enkei RP02's (i was actually looking at the RP02's before they were posted )
