Ok, the price and brand is ok. I only wish these came in 16"s but these are only 15"s. I think the size of them is what is holding me back the most. But according to konigwheels.com they're 10.8 lbs! Does anyone have these on their ride? I doubt it.

blah. i don'nt know. i am having the worst search evaR trying to find the rims I like. Fu cking sucks. Any help, I guess would be nice.

That would be on a Sedan btw.
It's just that I would like I a rim that looks good and are possibly 16"s, but relatively light. I want both performance and look. Price is an issue too I guess you could say.

^^???^^^
He said he wanted performance.... 17's are not performance, at least not for our cars...
oh ya, my Slipstreams (15X6.5) are 11.8 lbs.

Unfortunately, Konig is kinda ghey and only make them in 15, 17, and 19" fits.
I hate to say it cuz I know you're budget oriented, but Volk CE28Ns are as similar as you're going to get, $340 a pop but they're 11 lbs for 16x7.
The Rota Mugen Knockoff is close, I know for a fact those are available in 16x7.

to zzyzx - they're 15 x 6.5
would it better to go something wider? or are these ideal for a 15" rim?
boilerm - thanks homie. but uhm, i cannot aford volks.
i would LOVE to find a nice 16" wheel. The traffics come in 16" but I HATE the open center cap look.
i need to find anoter wheel make.

Aight dude... Wheel God to the rescue.
I picked these because they're relatively cheap, no one has them and they're on the ligher side of wheels.
Kosei Double Racer - $165 at Tire Rack

Available is the Kosei K1 TS in 15x7.5, but only in orange, and if you get orange I'll accuse you of copying me.... not cool .
Konig Holes - $135 at Discount Tire Direct

5Zigen Fighter - $171 at Discount Tire Direct

5Zigen FNO1RC - around $175

All are 16" prices. There you go, see if any of those will fly.

Ummm every single one that gives 2 ***** about going fast.
Just cuz every riced out piece of **** you see has 18s or 19s dragging along slow as **** doesn't mean there isn't another one on a light set of 15s running fast. Ever wonder why Mugen never made a 4x100 rim larger than 16"? Why Spoon never did either? or how about why Volk, Advan and Work don't make Civic/Integra fitments larger than 15 or 16"... because the people who make a living going fast see the value in smaller rims. I see plenty of them... all I gotta do is show up to an autocross or any given track day and there are plenty of Civics running 15s. Anyone running larger rims is just in it for looks. I have a set of 17's they happen almost the lightest ones you can buy, and they're still slower than a 15" wheel thats 4 lbs of static weight heavier... but I also have 2 more sets of 15s for the track.
Perhaps even HONDA themselves sees a value in a small light wheel. Maybe thats why Civics still sport 15s from the factory rather than stuff a heavy 17" wheel on over the same stock brakes and kill the car's performance.
Just because you're ignorant and it seems you've seen far too much fast and the furious doesn't mean the people who want to go fast aren't out there. You not noticing them is probably their sole reason for buying 15s in the first place.

Oh and BTW... I have a life. Its called engineering, and analysis is the **** I do on a daily basis. Perhaps you should learn something before just blurting out an opinion based on what seems to be no technical basis whatsoever and has nothing to do with the point of the thread where AR was seeking a wheel that combined good looks and PERFORMANCE. And how do we get performance??? Oh thats right... we look at the physics behind what we're putting on the car, and then we determine if its advantageous to the cars function to put it on.

This is a big purchase that you will regret making if whatever you buy is n ot what you really really want.

oh i am not going not making any descisions until i find and know what i want. i have been checking around for wheels for months now, on and off. some of the wheel junkies have been putting up with my threads in this section and they know what i am talking about. right now with all the choices, i think i am just going to go with a set of Si/EX wheels (new though, not used).
i mean... it's like every wheel i find, i am never 100% satisfied with them. you know?
but, i like some of the big name wheels... you know volk and all those others... but i am sure i would be out of college by the time my saving account reaches enough funding. i am 19 btw (and in college).

oh and BoilerM owned it. Even though my thread got high jacked, i still heart joo guys.

I also have 15x6.5" Rota Slipstreams. Of course, ricers won't like them cuz they're 15" and they don't "look cool," but that's too bad cuz all 4 of my wheels weigh as much as one of theirs.
Anyway, here's a few more pics of them.

^ that's with a 205/60/15 tire, which is like .5% bigger than stock in overall diameter or something. It was worth the half a percent increase in diameter to get the 205mm width.
Here's what they look like from the side. Of course, ricers will cry and say "Yo DuDe U ShOuLd HaVe GOttEN da 19" rImS Cuz DeY Be HeLLa TitE Yo," but, oh, which one of us has less rotational inertia to overcome? That's right.

Anyway, I'll also admit that they don't "look" as cool as 16"s or maybe 17"s, but they don't look bad at all, and they're light, too. 11.8lbs! There's more pics in my members rides.
I'm sure you already know, but make sure you get good tires to go with new rims if you get them.

I don't mean to a smart *** (actually I do...)
but the Civic HX comes with lightweight 14 inch alloy wheels stock...
My take on wheels, if you're going to do something do it right, if you want looks, get 17's and get a set that you like the looks off, and forget about the weight, cause unless you wanna drop loads of money you won't find a pair light enough, and then roll around in town on those.
For performance, get some lightweight 15's get the spoon one's if you've got 1700 bucks laying around 9.8 lbs per wheel is uber light, otherwise get the rota's they're cheap and still very light.
Then invest in a floor jack and a torque wrench and change your wheels when you see fit.
I think I might get a set of those orange Kosei K1 TS in 15x7.5's and toss some azenis on them, but not to copy you boilermaker, just because they're so wide... and then I'll keep my 14's and toss some winter tires on them... and then probably get some light 16's or 17's "fo sho"
Granted this is all gonna be after I sell my kidney on e-bay for money.. or win the lottery....

this is not the best way to make an impression here, especially when you are talking about a well known and respected member. even more so that he could probably drive circles around you....
Renamazazo, I've been eyeballing those wheels too.... mmmmmmm 15X7.5 could there be any thing sweeter.. Just have to powdercoat them some other color.
