Got a problem!!! Need Help!!!!

I just got some 17" rims on my car. I got 205/40 nitto 450 on the front and 205/45 yoko parada's on the rear. My back right keeps hittin the fender wall even though i have a two finger gap on that side. I keep raisin it but its keeps on rubbin. That is the only side its is happenin on and i dont know why. The left rear is lower then the right and that doesnt even hit. They were even but when the right kept hittin i kept raisin it a little at a time to see if that would help. But it doesnt. I used to have the 03 Ex rims or the 99-00 Si rims (same thing) and that never rubbed or hit anything. I need any advice asap. Thanks.

its because your new tires are wider than your 03 ex rims. try rolling your fenders a little bit

sounds like you need to have the camber adjusted on the right rear to match the left side. . The 205-45- 17 should not rub on a stock hieght car or even a moderatly lowered one. If its slammed the you will have to use 205-40 .

Thanks for the advice But i also wanted to know why only one side is rubbing and not the other. I know when i had it aligned the camber was adjusted the same on both sides.

Now am I the only one who noticed this? You have 205/40-17 on the front and 205/45-17 on the rear? Thats proboably why its giving you trouble. The rear tires have a larger sidewall than the front, causing it to rub.

it doesnt really matter that the tire size are different. i'm running 215-40-18s which are thicker than his 205-45-17s and mine dont rub.
he said his rear right rubs when his rear left didnt. if those two sizes were different than that might explain it but they're the same.

Got a big *** system? Rolling the fenders would do it but I would rather a camber quite if your not dropped that low.

do you have a camber kit on the rear?
It sounds like maybe you do. There are 3 places to adjust camber on the rear if you have a camber kit. one is the kit which will push out or pull in the top part of the wheel. the others are eccentric washers or bolts. that are located on the inside(center of car) of the lower arm. these will push or pull the lower part of the wheel. If the camber kits where not made the same length and adjusted equally. it is possible to have zero camber on both sides but have one wheel pushed out a little more than the other.

If you do not have a camber kit then maybe something is bent...or the camber is not equal on both sides.
