arospeed statics, 16"s though.
i have read recently read about cracking occuring on wheels. especially when they have thin spokes near the outter rim with a heavier center part. would these be like one of those wheels?
my next question, how much do they weight and how much do they cost.

I don't think I'd worry about that style cracking.
I don't know what those weigh, but there's lots of rims that look like that that are SUPER light.
Advan RGs are like 12 lbs
SSR Comps are about the same
Buddy Club makes a cast version ($about 130) of that wheel, its about 11 lbs, but its 15"
Kosei K1s (about $150 or so) are 13-14 lbs in 16"
Speedmaster (My orange ones) make a 15" version of that style, its 10.4 lbs.
If they did anything right... the ones you posted should be about the same. 14 or 15 lbs at the most.

And once again, I find myself going towards the 00/EX Si rims.

For a 16" rim? 14 or 15 lbs is perfectly fine. Anything that weighs less in pounds than its diameter is in inches usually qualifies in my book as being light.
