Question new wheels/tires

ok so ive had my car for about 2 months now and i decided my first mod will be new wheels and tires. Thing is wonter is fast approaching up here in maine so should i keep the stock ex wheels on for the winter and wait till spring or get them now???? im leaning more towards the idea of waiting.

Wait... theres no reason to rush it, just to **** them up with snow, salt, sand, and road muck. Patience is a virtue. If you must do something, then buy a shift ****, pedals, or some inconsequential mod that can't get messed up by the weather when its brand new.

This is what Im doing is waiting. In about a month, depending when the snow starts to fly, Im buying Bridgestone Blizzak's, to put on the steelies. Than in the spring, im buying either the Si rims, or the new 5 spokes, I cant decide yet, with some nice performance tires. Stock Firestones Suck ***.
