What's the difference between multipiece rims and single piece. I've been searching websites and coming across that.

exactly what it says. multi's are made out of more than one piece of metal.

wrong forum btw, but no big deal.

try searching in wheels and tires forum.

what's the added benefit to multi, I take it they are more expensive.

yea, they are more expensive...and usually come in bigger sizes. i think they look a lot nicer too

Ease of repairs and Maintinace.
Most Race wheels are multi piece.
also theres the added strength, due to each part being made seperatly rather then a whole piece. as well as reduced weight.

Kodiak Wheels are almost all 2 and 3 piece wheels.

Keizer Racing also makes good 2 and 3 piece wheels
