How long can I drive on patched up tires?

Ok someone pls. give me a quick estimate on how long a patched up tire will hold up. It's nothing major. I've driven hard on them on mountain corners and they haven't given. But, safety is always an issue to me.

Hmm... I never thought about that. I have one patched tire and one plugged tire... I'm more worried about the plugged tire than the patch though. I'm sure its fine though, b/c if you think about it these methods have been used to fix tires for awhile now. But I'm not for sure, so somebody else answer... haha

I mean do they have a life span? Are they just as good as if they were never punctured?

mine blew out today! Boy was that fun! I wouls say buy a new tire a soon as you can afford one! Don't risk it man trust me I was drivin then started swervin then next thing I know I need a new tire and a new rim!$$$$$$
