help my low performance tire has a bubble?
hepl i just noticed that my tire has a bubbule on the side of it..is this normal..is it dangerous..will my tire pop..help i don't know what it is..thanks
It is called an impact seperation. It is really bad to drive on and I reccomend replacing as soon as possible. It happens to all tires (some a lot more than others) but you have to replace them. If you bought them from discount tire and bought the certificate of free replacement on them then you are good, if not is gonna cost you.

hmmm...i had a bubble on my old Kumho Ecsta 712's after like 1 week...and i drove on them for another 8-9 months...and nothing erally happened. lol. i know i shouldnt' have done taht, i was gonna replcae it but i forgot about it, LOL. but that was a long time ago so it doesn't matter anymore.
replace the tire asap and if u don't have free replacement then fork over the money for the tire and then buy the warrantee...i got screwed cause my spec-2's were not covered and i killed one with a nail in the side wall
I have Toyo Proxes F4 on my 17" enkei's. Yes, it is dangerous to drive on but I've have 2 on my passenger front for awhile and its all good. It's the second time on two different tires that I get bubbles. I called the Toyo Home office and they said there was nothing they would do about it. It happens all the time with low profile tires and potholes.

I hit an expansion plate on an overpass doing 160 km/h and it put an impact break on my tire...Tire saved the wheel too....God I love Michelin...
