Question Tires losing air please help

I just recently put rims and tires on my car but on seems to loose pressure. This really worries me and I do not know what to do about it. I filled the tires up at 38 psi each at the gas station a few days ago and i checked and 3 held the air but one tires was down to 28 psi!! does this mean i need a patch or a newtire? Please help me, thanks.

I had a slow leak similar to this... come to find out, there was a nail on the inner tread of my tire. It sucked having to replace a tire with a lot of tread left on it. Definately take it and have it checked out... most places won't charge you. And its only like $15 to repair it, if its repairable.

the bead of the tire might not have set firmly enough. Make sure that you take it somewhere, and have them pull the tire off to make sure it isn't a nail or something easy like that, then also have them use bead sealer around the edges of the tire/rim area to make sure that it seats properly and holds in the air

NO NO NO!!!!!!
DO NOT put that **** in your tire. Not only do tire shops hate it, it ruins the balance of the tire cuz they can never get it all out.

Your leak can be from a few things...
The tire may not have seated properly (Go back to where they were mounted)
The valve stem is bad... open the cap and see if you can hear air leaking, if you can, you need a new valve stem core. Its a very simple DIY fix. Go to NAPA or something and buy valve stem cores and the tool needed to change them (grand total <$5). Jack the tire up, unscrew the old core, and screw in a new one, then re-inflate the tire.
Or you hit a nail/something sharp. You should be able to see this, find a tire shop that does patches from the inside NOT plugs. Plugs ruin tires.

Yup, I work for Discount Tire. Fixaflat is the worst **** ever made... lol

The worst thing about it is that half the time it doesn't even seal the leak.

Take it up to Discount Tire they will fix it for free if you bought tires there. If not it's $12.

Beware of those "Farmer plugs" also. The ones that they put in from the outside. Those let water into the inside of the tire which corrodes the steel belts and causes a tread seperation. In other words, they fu*k up your tire.

Agreed. I put that **** in my tire once and they couldn't get it to balance for anything. Finally I rememberd I had put that stuff in and they pulled the tire off and dumped it out, then it balanced fine.

I wouldn't only use fix-a-flat in an emergency situation and I'd get it out ASAP afterwards. It's definitely not a long term solution.
