Rota Slipstreams
thinking about some rota slipstreams. Anyone with a link to a good site to buy them off of cheap....preference to ones with canadian delivery.
How much are they usually??
I'm thinking of some for my 1/4 mile use next spring when i'll be spraying...maybe just 2 on the front with stockers in the back..or all 4 if i can get a good price.
Other VERY lightweight wheels that you can think of that are cheap as possible let me know.
thanks

unless you stay 15 and less, lightweight wheels and cheap don't go hand in hand. matter of fact, i don't know of too many lightweight 15's either (by lightweight i mean something 12 lbs or so or less)
i agree with civicvtec1ps, just buy all four.

www.kissmotorsports.com quoted me a set of 16 inch slipstreams with falken tires or kumho tires for like $650 shipped, another $40 bucks for lugs. that was the best price i could find.

Slipstreams are 11.8 lbs for the 15X6.5's and should cost some where between $100-125 (US)
I love mine
Of course, I dont use mine for Drag racing though.
Remeber to get a short tire too, it helps with acceleration, but not too short if you plan on doing drag racing. You need to have a bit of side wall flex for good drag launces (Bad For corners).

ugly perhaps but practical yes. I have day to day rims, i need track rims to improve my times. And why get all 4 when all you need to improve your time is the front 2. THe backs are just dead weight anyways. And why bother with the backs cuse you dont want them very wide....just very thin rims on the back.
