motegi mr7 offset?

i got motegi mr7 right now and was wondering what the offset is and if i should get 40/17 r 45/17, alsi i wanna drop it, ,more info please

how low do you want to drop your car? if you get 45 series, i suggest not going lower than 2". with a 2" drop, it should take out all wheel gap, any lower then your tires will tuck and might end up rubbing. if you get 40 series.. you can lower up to 2.5" and it should take out all gap.

i have 205/40/17 tires with a 2.25" drop and theres less than a pinky gap left. of course with a 40 series, your speedometer will be off a bit.

it all depends on how low you want your car, and how much tire gap you want/dont want
