195/60-15 looks FAR better than the stock size.
Right now I'm on 205/55-15.
205/55 is a little louder, but it's probably not a fair comparison considering the tires I had on that were 195/60s were all-season performance tires. The ones I have now are Ultra Max Performance Top Gun Grade Line whatever kind of tire. I'd expect a 55 to be louder. It's noticably wider - probably good for preventing the wheels from being curbed.
Steering response is a bit easier and overall traction is just better since there's more tread on the ground. I suppose if you're planning to get larger wheels you're gonna have road noise either way but if you're sticking to 15s and you like a silent ride I'd stay with the 60 profile.
The more performance you get the more you put comfort on the line.
This is a shot of the car.

The rear right spring creaks like most people with GCs. I can't really hear it unless I'm in the backseat of my car so it's not much of a problem now (at first it did it pretty loudly but not now). The only thing you can do with it is lube the spring and/or try to reposition it a different way but it's only a temporary fix. You get what you pay for.

Actually because I'm lowered on GCs right now I'm as low as I could go in the front (not shown in the pics). However, next week I should have the car lowered even more after I chop some of the perch off.
Don't worry, slammed status is coming. But I expected someone to eventually say that.

Why? 205/60 looks fat and looks exactly like the stock size tire.
I guess it's just a matter of taste but no matter what size the wheel, a low profile tire is the more attractive size. 205/60 and 185/65 steals the look of the wheel as it looks like a fat donut. 195/60, 205/55 and 205/50 bring out the wheels more.

205/60 looks STOCK, which looks NORMAL. On a 15 or 16" rim you should not get low profile, thats just plain stupid. I guess you don't care about your guages being correct.
Actually I do care. But the fact still remains that the speedo should not exceed 4% too fast/slow. You can barely tell the difference until it exceeds it but maybe you wouldn't know that.
205/55 is not low-pro FYI. At least I wouldn't consider it... maybe in between.
In terms of looks the stock tire is hideous especially when the car is lowered on it. It swallows up the wheel. There are no real performance tires in that size for 15s, and what do you mean it looks "normal"? Yeah it looks normal if your car looks normally and completely bone stock.
But hey, to his their own. It's all one's opinion when it comes to looks.
