19s or 18s, cant decide
I am thinking of getting 19s for my coupe. But I'm worried about the ride with 19s because I drive my car 1 hour a day. I'm also thinking of getting 215/35/19s because I'm planning on lowering my car. So please tell me what you think.

i hit the roads EVERY day with my 19s... NO WORRIES... just make sure you have nice suspension setup.. i have konis (ALL the way firm),. and gc's with stiffer spring rate, also.. if you go 19, and wanna be low at all ... YOU NEED CAMBER KIT!!! i have to tuck them in the back, and a tiny tiny bit in the front to sit as low as i do (about 3" drop), but NEVER rubs... its all how you set it up... and daily driver diffrence, thats DUMB to compare, either way you have 215/35 tires, ride will be THE SAAAAMME!!! my 19s even ride better than my 18s did...

I say 18" the 17" I have are OK but the look of a 18" is hella sweet, 19" to me is a little too much $$ to invest in a civic, but if you plan on keeping the car do it. I was thinking 19" but my accord will be 5 lug and they couldn't transfer to it.
someon said this before:
19s = rubber band tires. On a daily driver ride, they pop in a month.
I have 18s on my +50-miles-a-day ride, and the route I travel is not show car friendly. I got 225-40-18zr (most people get 215-35) and the absorb a lot of the average bumps along the way. If a pothole's deeper than an inch, I'm going to steer away from it.

lol blackbullet. looking at your car made me want to get 19s. I have a black coupe too. But I don't want to change my whole suspension yet and 18s are $600 cheaper. One question blackbullet, is that your day-to-day car or just a show car?

If its a daily driver then get 18's...if its a show car get the 19's and toss it on the ground...
