Chrome '99-'00 Si wheels?
I have a 2003 EX coupe, which as you probably know, comes with the '99-'00 Si wheels standard.
to Honda for doing this, BTW. Anyway, I was curious what everyone would think of chroming these. Yes, I know they would be somewhat heavier, and yes I know they are only 15s, but I like how they look, and I think chrome wheels can look nice on a black car as my EX is NBP. Has anyone here already done this? Thoughts???

IMHO, i dont think it will look good at all. i personally dont like chrome on cars that arent SUV's or luxury cars. another thing is that its only 15's. save your money for something else

No...
Powdercoating them something darker... yes.
They may even look good in white
but they are too small and too sharply cut to work in chrome.

The paint costs $4.00 a can.
Powdercoating can run anywhere between $30 and 90 a wheel depending on where you go and what color.
The big difference I found between the paint and the powdercoat was how much smoother the powdercoating was. Even if the paint is even, it still feels rough to the touch... powdercoating is slick... and it comes out looking like it came from the factory. It's also a lot harder to chip powdercoating that it will be for paint.

All you gotta do is buy some rim shine, and buff it for a while. With little hardwork and time, they would look almost chrome. I did this to my GSR swirls, I polished them a little everyday.
