Hi!, I've searched for the 17" velox vx-8 weight vastly, but couldn't find a definate answer. I've read on this forum that it weighs 19lbs, over 20 lbs, and 22 lbs. Does anyone know how much these wheels weigh? thanks!

I have searched for this as well, as i was considering this set of rims. And i too was unable to find anything. What kind of wheel manufacturer doesn't tell you on their website geez.

Most of them won't tell you. But if you want show rims then who cares. If you want fast rims, then get the Volk CE28N... which is the forged original version... that weighs about 14 lbs in 17".

The current issue of Sport Compact Car has them weighed, as well as 100s of other wheels. Unfortunately I don't have it.

Sport Compact Car weighed the new Velox Progear stuff, which is really nice by the way

Unfortunately SCC only showed 1 Velox VX series wheel, the lightweight 17 X 7 VX-6R which Velox says weighs 16.5 lbs. (SCC said it weighed 14.4 lbs )


The regular VX-6, VX-8, VX-K: from everything I've seen the 17 X 7.5 weighs 23 pounds

wheelspecs.com shows 23 lbs for the VX-K and customwheelsmarket.com also has 23 lbs as the wheel weight shown on their Velox pages for each of those models

I've got the 17x7 Velox VX-6R, and as far as I know, it weighs 16.5 lbs. Very nice wheels. I had 16x7 tanturms before, and they were much heavier. Hope that helps.
