need help ASAP

I have the FIRST generation Goldlines and want to get 18's with 215\40\18- does anyone know if I will rub? The back of my car sits lower. Thanks.

nobody knows the answer to this? my man posted this yesterday, he's hoping to buy them in the next couple weeks and we'll have to order them...

They should fit fine. My car is dumped to the ground and I'm runnig 225/40/18, I only get a little rubbing. I did roll my fenders though. I was told that 215/40/18 was the biggest tire size you can go with out doing any fender modification.

you do get a little rubbing though? when did you put on your 225/40/18's? long time?

darkcivic needs your help... he's ordering in the next few days and really needs to know for sure if 215/40/18 series tires will rub with his goldlines... i know someone responded already, but we're looking for some more feedback....

Not to be an ***, but I saw a thread on this last week. I have 205/40/17 tires and I have my car lowered for a year. After a while your struts and shocks will start to go bad as my car is now and because of this the car will go just a little bit lower. From how my car looks now, if there were 18's on there with a 40 series tire it would be pushing it on terms of rubbing if not rubbing. I think the I'd look into something with a 1.5 drop all the way around.

unfortunately, my boyfriend has no access to the compter anymore and you could say i am pretty car illiterate as far as these things go, so i wouldn't know what i was searching for. i appreciate the info though, i will let him know, thanks.
