I have a 2025 Civic Sport Touring, with a white exterior and gray interior.
I don’t know if this is something I just didn’t notice before and am just now noticing, but to someone who has the same vehicle or same color scheme, does the soft touch (vinyl?) material on the dashboard panel vary in its shade of gray?
Long story short, I thought I had over cleaned my old dash to where I scratched it, dried out the oils, discolored it/made the color fade. I could see areas where I scrubbed too hard and saw where some areas looked like they were turning lighter, white almost. I tried restoring it with LVP conditioner but all that did was make it super shiny.
I had the dash replaced, and either they replaced it with the same panel and didn’t realize it, or they are all like this in color, because the new one from Honda looked almost identical to my old one in color.
My question is, do y’all’s dash look like the gray color varies a bit across the dash, and isn’t one solid shade of gray? I’ve read where the gray can look different depending on the type and amount of different lightings.
I added a picture I found on Ebay of the part I am talking about.
