Idle Question

When I come to a stop the idle stop rarely works. I understand that this is oftentimes because it is too cold or there are a host of other reasons. However, sometimes I get the message, "idle stop temporarily interrupted adjust climate to enable". What does that mean? What is this telling me?

Thanks -

george

Re: Idle Question

To me it sounds like the engine is staying running to keep the coolant hot for cabin heat. Try turning the heat down a few degrees and see if that makes a difference
