Ie virtually nothing that differs it from a normal Civic other than the fact its hybrid.

Nice to know that the basics are still there so its not a complete alien to work on.

Power Output
20 hp / 76 lb.-ft.

Wow!
That's weak.. surely the driver is going to notice this sheer lack of power whilst driving?
I would never have thought it would be so un-powerful..

Yah but thats how you save money anteater.. less fuel consumption.
I dont think its too bad, you could still drive up hills well.
Its more of a city car anyway.

Anteater - The 20 hp motor is the IMA Battery Assistance on TOP of the (huge) 110 hp Gas motor. Some specs list it as 110 hp TOTAL (including the battery assistance of 20 hp) and some list it separately but it is NOT just a 20 hp motor - that would be like a golf cart, silly. =)

Granted, when you happen to run out of gas and the car is only being propelled by the 20 hp motor it is instantly noticeable (don't ask me how I know). Nice to know that the car CAN limp to a gas station on battery power only with no fuel in the tank though. I didn't see that listed in the book anywhere but now I get to add it to the Appendix.
