Hi everybody Is it possible to place a steering wheel of a civic type r from 2006 in a honda civic 1.3 hybrid 8th gen 2009?

Generation to generation should be fine.

The main issues are the airbag connection and the steering wheel shaft length, on the back side of the steering wheel.

If the airbag connection does not directly connect, It would be better to stay stock because these bags use a dual firing airbag, with two different charges/ and circuits.
