If I were to buy the stock led headlights from the upper trims for my ex to replace the halogens would it just be plug and play or would I need to do some modifications?

Adapters needed to convert the 3 plugs to the one plug on the back of the OEM LED assemblies, and load resistors for the turn signals to mitigate hyperflash
alternatively, you can go with aftermarkets. Theretrofitsource.com sells full assemblies that are PnP. Sharper cutoff than the ORMs, but about the same light output. Unless you feel like spending a grand on a set of their upgraded ones with individual projectors.
