2006 Honda Civic Ex Condenser Oil

Hello Everyone. I unfortunately hit a big old racoon which cracked my bumper and the condenser pretty badly.

Replacing the condenser seems pretty straight forward however I am wondering do I need to add any oil (pag 46) to the condenser? Any good videos or write ups about the condenser on here? Is there any service manual available online?

Also any Canadians on here? When recharging is r12a a 1:1 replacement for r134a weight wise? It seems to be all that they sell here locally is r12a.
I have access to some gauges and vacuum pump so would like to try it myself if possible.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, you add oil when replacing a part. Per the service manual it looks like 50 mL for the condenser. I'm no help with the r12a vs r134a, I honestly had no idea r12a existed.

Service manual is available online for the 8th gen Civic.
