Battery Maintenance on 2015 Civic
Battery Maintenance on 2015 Civic
I just replaced the battery in our sons 2015 Civic EX sedan. I got a Honda battery from the Honda dealer (via the Honda estore) cheaper than I could’ve gotten one at the auto parts store.
I had a few questions about taking care or it.
1. Should I install the foam pads to help prevent corrosion?
2. Is it ok to cover the terminals and connectors with Vaseline? Always have doe that but have heard it might be a bad idea?
3. Should I spray on some kind of protector? I notice Permatex and CRC offer them.
Let me know your thoughts.

Re: Battery Maintenance on 2015 Civic
I would just coat the terminals and cable ends. I use fluid film because I usually already have it out and I can spray it on
