D16Y7 to a D16Y4
So I've decided to swap my D16Y7 for another D16 and I've found a D16Y4 for sale, does any know if these engines are very different or are pretty similar? The engine is for sale in the states but it was imported from Japan.

Power-wise, the Y4 is right between the Y7 and the Y8. It will physically be almost identical, but the ECUs are different (P2K for the Y4 and P2E for the Y7), so I suspect the wiring will be different.
I'd just replace it with another Y7, or try the Y8 if you feel like doing some modification.
