My car idles at 2,000RPM and I've been trying to find out why for weeks. I calibrated my TPS sensor, got a new IAC, and put on a Cold Air Intake.
I took the intake off one day and tried to kill the engine by plugging up the throttle body and intake hose and I pretty much did (not 100% but pretty close. I had to stuff a rag in the throttle body) so that means it's some kind of vacuum leak.
My throttle plate has a noticeable gap if you shine light through it, I was wondering if this is normal. I provided some pictures.
